Ensure controls and safeguards promote adherence to applicable federal and state laws and protect patient/customer data
Assist the Compliance Manager with internal reviews, research, and audits for compliance with laws, client requirements, accreditations/certifications, audit frameworks, and organizational policies
Document findings and organize data to identify potential risk areas
Stay informed of rule and regulation changes in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries
Support day-to-day operations of the Document Management System (DMS) and Learning Management System (LMS)
Coordinate with departments and cross-functional teams to ensure documents are reviewed and revised on schedule
Perform document control functions: tracking, processing, review, formatting, distribution, and archiving
Evaluate document organization, proofread, and provide quality checks prior to finalization
Assist Compliance Manager with review and management of third-party audits
Verify compliance with insurer rules, Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and other applicable regulations
Assist in Incident Management and CAPA processes
Assist in conducting enterprise-wide Risk Assessment
Receive, investigate, and resolve compliance and privacy-related complaints or concerns
Maintain Compliance & Privacy logs as required
Assist in training efforts: prepare materials and present training through various methods
Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
CHC or other relevant certifications preferred
Computer skills: Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio
Experience with Jira Service Desk a plus
High degree of emotional intelligence
