Communicate effectively and professionally with insurance company representatives regarding inquiries on patient benefits.
Obtain patient benefits from insurance companies and properly relay benefit quotes to providers.
Respond to email correspondence with providers' offices appropriately and in a timely manner.
Perform other tasks and projects as needed.
Report to the Benefits Manager; full-time, non-exempt position.
Requirements
Minimum of one year experience in healthcare or behavioral health highly preferred.
Adherence to strict confidentiality standards to safeguard patient care information and protect patient rights.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, showcasing a solid command of Microsoft Office applications, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other technologies
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records maintenance.
Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds at times.
