About the role

  • Coordinate administrative aspects of associated clinics, including preparation of reports using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, QlikView, and SharePoint.
  • Provide leadership support with maintenance of agendas, taking meeting minutes, and coordinate activities and schedules of department teams.
  • Coordinate and monitor departmental needs such as purchasing supplies or services and arranging equipment repair, including submitting work orders.
  • Respond to questions and provide support to department staff regarding payroll (time-off policies, procedures, and scheduling).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • On-site, full-time day shift (M-F 8am-4:30pm) at multiple UW Health locations in Madison, WI.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare or related field Preferred
  • 1 year of experience in an administrative support role Required
  • 3 years of experience in an administrative support function Preferred
  • Previous experience in a health care setting Preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, QlikView, and SharePoint
  • Ability to coordinate schedules, agendas, and take meeting minutes
  • Experience with purchasing, supplies coordination, and submitting work orders
  • Knowledge of payroll time-off policies, procedures, and scheduling support
