About the role

  • Manage administrative tasks associated with the legal process of foreclosure
  • Timely correspondence with all interested parties and ensure thorough email responses
  • Maintain electronic files and consistently update internal and client case management systems
  • Prepare legal pleadings, draft memoranda, correspondence, assignments, and other legal documents
  • Follow up on service of process and provide regular client status updates
  • Field calls from borrowers, clients, and outside parties; provide exceptional customer service
  • Review title reports and recorded documents
  • Proofread legal documents and provide support to attorneys in a high-volume, time-sensitive atmosphere
  • Perform other duties as needed
  • Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Committed to providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with borrowers, clients, attorneys, internal employees, and outside parties
  • Ability to work congenially in a team-oriented manner
  • Exceptional organizational skills; ability to multi-task and adapt to continual change
  • Ability to read and write at a high level for proofreading and editing
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Proficiency in internet research activities
  • Familiarity with case and document management software
  • Experience with client systems such as LPS, SSE Portal, Tempo, Vendorscape preferred
  • Good understanding of the legal process surrounding foreclosure preferred
  • Experience reviewing title reports and identifying chain of title issues preferred
  • Ability to proficiently operate computer, fax machine, scanner, photocopier, typewriter, and telephone
  • Authorized to work in the United States
