About the role
- Develop new service opportunities within assigned Active Accounts
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at assigned accounts
- Develop, document, communicate, and execute an effective strategy to engage with the assigned Active Accounts
- Identify opportunities within assigned account list for new Ascend Managed Services offerings
- Identify client business priorities, needs and pain points and discuss Ascend Managed Services offerings
- Lead the Ascend team through the sales process
- Lead the preparation and delivery of sales proposals, contracts, and other business development documents
- Close business and achieve targets
- Ensure Salesforce has accurate data regarding your accounts and opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years successful managed services sales experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to confidently develop relationships with the highest-level decision makers in an organization
- Ability to sell in a consultative manner focusing on business outcomes
- Ability to work closely with Ascend teammates to strategize and develop opportunities
- Experience with premium, complex B2B services sales
- Exceptional communication, presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills
- Personal computer and internet skills with a firm grasp of how to use Microsoft Office tools and Salesforce
- Occasional travel is required
