About the role

  • Develop new service opportunities within assigned Active Accounts
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at assigned accounts
  • Develop, document, communicate, and execute an effective strategy to engage with the assigned Active Accounts
  • Identify opportunities within assigned account list for new Ascend Managed Services offerings
  • Identify client business priorities, needs and pain points and discuss Ascend Managed Services offerings
  • Lead the Ascend team through the sales process
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of sales proposals, contracts, and other business development documents
  • Close business and achieve targets
  • Ensure Salesforce has accurate data regarding your accounts and opportunities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years successful managed services sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to confidently develop relationships with the highest-level decision makers in an organization
  • Ability to sell in a consultative manner focusing on business outcomes
  • Ability to work closely with Ascend teammates to strategize and develop opportunities
  • Experience with premium, complex B2B services sales
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Personal computer and internet skills with a firm grasp of how to use Microsoft Office tools and Salesforce
  • Occasional travel is required
