About the role Provide general broker back up support and liaise with markets and clients as a key team member of the International Property team. Produce MRCs / endorsements and assist with wordings. Work on both Open Market and Lineslip placements. Facilitate processing of tax calculations and debit notes. Create placement schematics and premium calculations. Use PPL or Whitespace to obtain market agreement of slips and endorsements. Respond to Xchanging queries. Ensure all placing, contract and closing documentation satisfies the client requirements and complies with internal procedures. Collaborate with peers in the London office and be an effective team member. Use the data and analytics produced within the International Property team to monitor KPIs. Escalate any potential E&Os to line management and the Legal & Compliance team at the earliest opportunity. Contribute to retention of clients through planned and coordinated account renewal. Support the identification and development of opportunities for account growth. Ensure agreed payment terms and payment warranties are met through credit control. Educate clients and manage client expectations through market, insurance, and sector briefings. Assist and develop less experienced members of the team. Co-ordinate and manage client and placement records. Requirements A minimum of 5 years relevant Insurance experience required. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent Excel skills (create placement schematics, premium calculations). Understanding of the London Insurance Market and International Insurance Markets. Experience working on Open Market and Lineslip placements. Experience producing MRCs / endorsements and assisting with wordings. Experience with tax calculations and debit notes. Experience using PPL or Whitespace to obtain market agreement of slips and endorsements. Experience responding to Xchanging queries. Organised and reliable. Collaborative team working approach.
