About the role
- Play a key part in managing aircraft component repairs.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers to monitor orders, resolve challenges, and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Manage and track repair orders, providing regular updates.
- Negotiate repair costs when needed.
- Meet performance targets and contract requirements.
- Expedite urgent parts to keep operations running.
- Monitor supplier performance using internal systems.
- Support improvement plans and solve root issues.
- Flag and fix problems that impact operations.
- Assist with other tasks as required by the team
Requirements
- Experience in aviation or with aircraft components.
- Strong admin skills in a busy office.
- Confident using Outlook and Excel.
- Great customer service and relationship skills.
- Proactive, organised, and detail-focused.
- Clear communicator with strong time management.
- Able to prioritise tasks and meet KPIs.
- Desirable: Background in MRO, repairs, or trading.
- Desirable: Keen to develop in repair cycle management.
- Desirable: Analytical with reporting experience.
- Desirable: Familiarity with systems like ILS, Airbus World, Quantum, or AMOS.
- Right to work in the UK; role does not meet Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
