Performs a variety of administrative functions to support the operations of a program office.
Performs specialized administrative support tasks of a non-routine and non-repetitive nature.
Monitors projects and/or finances for members of the assigned functional unit.
Independently performs professional-level tasks, both formal and informal, requiring independent judgment, initiative, and tact.
Determines the method of collection and analysis for assigned projects.
Prepares complex briefings with a consistently high level of accuracy, minimal corrections, and high quality.
Proficiently manages multiple calendars and meeting rooms on Outlook.
Expertise in preparing various reports and making recommendations for actions.
Assists with project management, event planning, and office relocation planning, as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Maintains a professional attitude, demonstrating excellent learning skills and oral and written communication skills.
Competently handles changing requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with a preferred discipline in Business Administration or Management. (Four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree).
Eight (8) years of relevant experience. (A Master’s Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to proficiently manage multiple calendars and meeting rooms on Outlook.
Experience preparing complex briefings with high accuracy.
Experience monitoring projects and/or finances for a functional unit; advanced knowledge of budget management and financial reporting.
Experience with project management, event planning, and office relocation planning.
Experience with travel arrangements and expense reporting.
Experience working within the Federal Government or supporting government clients (desired).
Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira) (desired).
