About the role
- Work with Apartment Life supervisor to prepare a monthly schedule of events and programming
- Coordinate and execute monthly activities and events (including high end/VIP events and resident activities)
- Welcome new residents and perform elevated acts of care
- Coordinate with local partners and vendors to deliver tailored programs
- Act as the smiling face of the community, providing VIP resident experiences through kindness and service
- Communicate effectively and regularly with onsite staff and meet virtually biweekly with AL supervisor to discuss progress and goals
- Oversee each activity to ensure they run as planned and report monthly on program elements and property impact
- Steward relationships with non-profits, local church, businesses, resident relationships, funds, and access to clubrooms with integrity
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in outreach and/or ministry helpful but not required
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Experience planning high end events each month, marketing and is social media savvy
- Ability to communicate with and coordinate partnerships with local businesses
- Excellent listening and communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to provide flexible service hours as needed

- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States (at least one coordinator if serving as a team)
- Have basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements and required reports (at least one coordinator if serving as a team)
- Possess a current driver’s license and liability insurance, and access to reliable transportation
- Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, carry up to 25 pounds (at least one coordinator if serving as a team)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check in compliance with federal, state, and local law
- Availability to commit weekly hours and a minimum term commitment of serving for 2 years
- Have access to their own computer for email, calendar creation, and reporting; personal phone required for supervisor communication
- Living Onsite at the community with discounted rent (role is not paid)
- Part-time schedule (15-18 hours per week)
- Flexible service hours (business hours, evenings, and weekends)
