About the role
- Execute the service plan of Apartment Life for the assigned community
- Work with Apartment Life supervisor to prepare a monthly schedule of events and programming
- Coordinate with local partners to deliver quality programs tailored to community residents
- Plan and host several monthly activities and events; welcome new residents and perform acts of care
- Visit residents upon move-in and throughout their lease term and engage online to boost online reputation
- Act as the “smiling face” of the community, providing VIP resident experiences through kindness and service
- Communicate regularly with onsite staff and meet virtually biweekly with AL supervisor to discuss progress and goals
- Oversee activities to ensure they run as planned and report activity monthly to capture program elements and impact
- Steward relationships with non-profits, the local church, businesses, resident relationships, property funds, and clubroom access with integrity
- Manage administration time effectively and align individual tasks with regional goals
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in outreach and/or ministry helpful but not required
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate with and coordinate partnerships with local businesses
- Excellent listening and communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to provide flexible service hours as needed
- Event planning skills, including administration

- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States (at least one coordinator if serving as a team)
- Have basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements and required reports (at least one coordinator if serving as a team)
- Possess a current driver’s license and liability insurance, and access to reliable transportation
- Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to pass a criminal background check in compliance with federal, state, and local law
- Availability to commit weekly hours and minimum term commitment of serving for 2 years
- Have access to own computer for email, calendar creation, and reporting; personal phone required for supervisor communication
- The role is compensated by living Onsite at the community with discounted rent.
- Part time, 15-18 hours per week.
- Flexible service hours (can be completed during business hours, evenings and weekends).
