About the role
- Lead analytical deep-dives into recent business performance and identify opportunities to achieve P&L targets
- Build dynamic models to inform decision-making and support product roadmaps or operational tests
- Own analyses and reporting (ad hoc and weekly/monthly) providing actionable insights into metrics, issues and opportunities
- Complement quantitative insights with qualitative data, competitive analysis, and customer interviews
- Lead specific growth projects from project design to operational execution, tracking, and scale-up
- Work with cross-functional teams (Product, Ops, CX, Phone Sales, Marketing) to support experiment test planning, analysis, and implementation
- Build concise presentations that summarize findings and lead to clear recommendations; share work cross-functionally
- Provide strong cross-functional exposure to category management / P&L ownership, product, operations, analytics, and leadership
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience
- Exceptional quantitative skills and aptitude; deep knowledge of Excel; SQL is a plus
- Significant experience framing up analyses independently
- Demonstrated experience gathering data from various sources and driving strategic insight
- Demonstrated experience owning and executing projects involving various stakeholders
- An eye for the detail; excellent QA habits
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient in PowerPoint
- Management consulting experience at a top firm, or a similarly analytical role at a fast-growth startup or technology/marketplace company (preferred)
