About the role

  • Service institutional clients by managing operational tasks, developing and executing operational processes in support of clients' needs, and performing transaction reviews and approvals
  • Review client transactions and instructions in a timely manner and manage transactions in a risk-conscious way
  • Become intimately familiar with client operations and their use of the platform and anticipate client needs, acting as an internal advocate
  • Support client interactions across multiple teams and work closely with Client Experience, Sales, Compliance, and Product to develop operational solutions to complex client requests
  • Develop familiarity in all product and service offerings, gaining a deep understanding of product features and supported cryptocurrencies
  • Participate in regular evening and weekend on-call rotations
  • Ensure processes and procedures are developed and continuously refined; identify and escalate risks to management

Requirements

  • Experience supporting operational needs of institutional clients in a financial services setting, with a familiarity with US Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) requirements
  • Maintain a working understanding of how institutional clients such as VCs, Sovereign Wealth Funds, PEs operate in the crypto custody space
  • Maintain an understanding of traditional financial services, products and strategies
  • Maintain a basic understanding of the crypto industry’s landscape, tokens/protocols, and different verticals (staking, governance, etc.)
  • Capable of navigating and learning various systems and tools such as Salesforce, JIRA, Looker
  • Ability to execute the end-to-end processing of client operations for institutional clients, including receiving, verifying, and reviewing operations accurately and in a timely manner
  • 2-4 years of professional working experience in financial services and/or digital asset industry
  • Experience supporting institutional client operations in financial services, or another heavily regulated industry
  • Experience with different channels of support including chat, text, telephone, email and video conference
  • Foundational knowledge or interest in blockchain, crypto-economics, security engineering
  • Keen ability to adapt and learn quickly as business strategies evolve and new products are introduced
  • Participate in regular evening and weekend on-call rotations
