About the role
- Proactively research, target, and engage potential clients via calls, emails, and social media
- Identify and understand key market segments, including SMBs, enterprise-level businesses, and verticals at high risk for cyber threats
- Engage prospects to understand cybersecurity challenges, assess needs, and qualify leads for Account Executives
- Collaborate with the sales team to schedule demos and meetings and ensure smooth handoffs
- Build strong relationships with potential clients by educating on solutions and cybersecurity best practices
- Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads, track outreach, and update the sales pipeline
- Meet and exceed lead generation and qualification goals, contributing to overall sales pipeline and revenue targets
Requirements
- Proven success in meeting/exceeding quotas in sales or business development (1-2 years preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage C-suite executives and decision-makers
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet or exceed KPIs and sales targets
- Experience using CRM tools and sales prospecting platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo)
- Experience with a variety of prospecting and prospecting tools to streamline workflows and identify leads
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience

- Prior experience as BDR or SDR in Cyber Security space (bonus)
