About the role
- Interface directly with Infrastructure, Networking and Technical teams to understand requirements and support various business functions and systems capabilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and manage SAP Systems (S/4HANA, BTP Solutions/Services, CPI, Datasphere and other SAP solutions)
- Implement the technical approach of all SAP and non-SAP systems integrating with SAP solutions and manage SAP and 3rd party dependencies related to the SAP environment
- Plan and manage SAP systems maintenance schedule, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders like SAP ECS (RISE)
- Apply SAP best practices and drive technical governance
- Perform performance tuning and configuration, troubleshooting and root cause analysis related to HANA DB, S/4HANA and other SAP SaaS solutions
- Implement, upgrade, and support the latest SAP system versions
- Oversee BTP landscape setup and maintenance, including SSO
- Own and drive SAP infrastructure to meet future needs and scalability while keeping industry-leading best practices in mind
- Drive design and engineering efficiency and optimize development processes for continuous product delivery
- Implement solutions to streamline processes, reduce redundancy, and enhance internal customers’ experience
- Provide on-call support as scheduled
Requirements
- Bachelor or equivalent degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience as a SAP Basis Administrator with hands-on experience
- Experience in at least 2 SAP Implementations, Upgrades, Conversions, Migrations, with at least 1 implementation in the “RISE with SAP” context coordinating with SAP ECS
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA, HANA DB, BTP, CPI, Datasphere and other SAP solutions
- Experience with performance tuning, configuration, troubleshooting and RCA related to HANA DB, S/4HANA, and other SAP SaaS solutions
- Experience implementing upgrades, conversions, and migrations and supporting latest SAP system versions
- Knowledge of hyperscalers and overseeing BTP landscape setup and maintenance, including SSO
- Ability to plan and manage SAP systems maintenance schedules and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including SAP ECS
- Provide on-call support during weekdays and weekends as per schedule
- At least one SAP certification preferred: SAP S/4HANA System Administration or Database Administrator - SAP HANA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to keep up with current technology trends to assess and make recommendations on processes, designs, and operations
