About the role
- Take ownership of reviewing, redlining, and negotiating sales contracts, escalating key issues to stakeholders as appropriate
- Collaborate with the company attorneys to ensure contracts reflect current legal and compliance requirements
- Partner cross-functionally to move deals efficiently through the sales cycle (Product, Security, Privacy, Compliance, Marketing)
- Help enhance and apply playbooks, policies, and processes to ensure consistency and conformance in contracts
- Manage operations, including workflow management and systems
- Provide general assistance to the AlphaSense legal team on contracts-related matters
- Report to the Managing Counsel, Commercial Contracts and support high-growth business objectives
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience with drafting and reviewing commercial agreements (with a heavy emphasis on sales agreements)
- Ability to analyze and review a broad range of global sales contracts including Master Services Agreements, Order Forms, Statements of Work, Purchase Orders, Service Level Agreements, etc.
- Superior business acumen and a commitment to providing responsive support to our teams and to getting things done
- Experience managing a high volume of tasks for multiple stakeholders simultaneously and prioritizing based on greatest positive impact to the business
- Familiar with following and developing contracts playbooks
- Energetic and collaborative, with strong communication skills and a sense of humor
- Effective communicator with the ability to interact with both internal and external professionals of all types and backgrounds
- Experience with contract management systems and success in a high-growth tech environment a plus
