About the role

  • Foster positive relationships with residents, addressing concerns and providing exceptional customer service
  • Advertise available units and conduct property tours
  • Rent collection and basic financial management tasks
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair activities to ensure property is well-maintained and compliant with regulations
  • Stay informed about affordable housing regulations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing laws
  • Organize community events and activities to enhance resident community
  • Maintain grounds, amenities, building interiors/exteriors, leasing office, and parking lots
  • Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily
  • Assist in preparation of units, including trash outs before make-ready
  • Assist in cleaning available apartments and/or models
  • Perform snow removal of walking areas within the premises
  • Provide on-call assistance for true emergencies (flood, fire, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in property management preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle customer service effectively
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proven experience in general maintenance and repair work, preferably in residential or multifamily housing setting
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
