Lead civil engineering aspects of energy projects from concept to detailed design, delivering drawings, specs, estimates, and schedules
Provide technical guidance, review designs, and resolve project challenges with practical, hands-on expertise
Prepare clear, accurate reports and documentation, and support site activities through inspections and construction monitoring
Identify and mitigate risks related to health & safety, design, sustainability, and commercial factors
Represent the company professionally, support business development, and mentor junior engineers
Provide clients help and support at all project stages, including feasibility studies, technology assessments, technical due diligence, Lenders’ Engineer services, FEED studies, owner’s engineer services, EPCM services, operation and maintenance support and optimisation, and expert witness services
Requirements
minimum 2:1 degree in civil engineering
Chartered Engineer status
Detailed working knowledge of codes and standards used within the UK energy sector (Eurocodes and British Standards)
