About the role

  • Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to work onsite in Amarillo, TX at a hyperscale data center project for 1-2 year project
  • Coordinate with diverse teams, review designs and drawings, and prepare electrical equipment procurement and installation specifications
  • Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets; serve as Responsible Engineer (RE) or Lead Responsible Engineer (LRE)
  • Travel for field installation, checkout, and start-up; perform inspections and review third-party testing reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • Minimum of 6 years of engineering design experience in data centers or similar
  • Experience in electrical codes, standards, and criteria for power systems
  • Knowledge of data center MEP systems
  • Data Center or mission critical construction and inspection experience preferred
  • Professional Engineer preferred
  • Ability to be a lead responsible engineer for a project involving multi-discipline work
  • Must be able to climb ladders and/or stairs at client sites
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite including, but not limited to, Word and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
