Accountant

• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Own areas of the GL such as prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intercompany accounts
• Assist with flux analysis and monthly close schedules
• Support revenue recognition processes (ensuring compliance with ASC 606)
• Review client contracts and perform billing in accordance with terms
• Partner with Client Service Operations to resolve discrepancies in billing or contract data
• Oversee day-to-day A/R and A/P processing
• Support collections and vendor payment scheduling as needed
• Monitor expense reports and corporate card transactions (via Ramp)
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages
• Support year-end audit and tax preparation (PBC schedules, reconciliations, supporting docs)
• Maintain strong documentation for audit or PE-level diligence
• Work with FP&A to provide actuals data for BvA analysis
• Partner with HR/Payroll on compensation-related reconciliations
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Support ERP system enhancements and integrations
• Contribute to building scalable processes as Aduro grows
