Account Manager

• Deliver annual sales and profit objectives by developing a strategic sales plan that engages retailers and will increase the Emery Jensen customer base within a defined geographic territory
• Represent Emery Jensen both professionally and ethically in all day to day activities

Territory Manager

Manager

• Assesses retailer needs, market conditions, the competitive landscape, and identifies strategies to maximize retailer sales and profits.
• Coaches Retailers on why and how to implement recommended voluntary actions.
• Maximize Ace wholesale sales.
• Consults with Retailers to ensure fundamental business and retail techniques are executed. Examples include gross margin, cash flow, expense management, return on investment, customer service, brand management, advertising, merchandise mix, plan-o-grams, labor optimization, inventory management, etc.
• Serves as the Corporate liaison to Retailers to assures successful Retailer loyalty and coordinates the execution of Corporate initiatives and programs.
• Lead and influence Retailers with regards to retrofits, relocations, expansions, branch locations, and owner succession planning.

District Manager – Central & Eastern WA

Business Development Rep

• Responsible for finding and signing new high-value customers for Emery Jensen across our key customer channels.
• Identifies prospects, develops a pipeline, determines the needs of specific prospects and shares the Emery Jensen value proposition to meet those needs.
• Develops relationships with industry organizations, vendor partners, and prospective customers.
• Works closely with the Emery Jensen sales team, helping new customers transition to their Territory Managers during the early months after signing customers.
• Communicates effectively with the local Territory Manager to insure the growth of the account throughout the 12 month sales cycle.
• Increases top-line sales for Emery Jensen while targeting prospective customers and developing a sales approach with company profitability in mind.
• Actively researches, pursues, and opens prospective customers within defined sales channels.
• Maintains a weekly prospect pipeline with measurable results.
• Utilizes Emery Jensen marketing and merchandising material/initiatives to strategically present solutions to prospective customers.
• Participates in national industry organizations and attends industry events with an established approach aimed at signing prospective customers.
• Actively communicates with Territory Managers and develops a plan for transition of newly opened accounts.

Business Development Manager

Sales

• Effective merchandising of planograms that result in increased inventory turns and sales results.
• Maintain exemplary relations with store personnel and management that drives Emery Jensen’s value proposition.
• Walk floor, inspect Emery Jensen sets, merchandise and stock product as necessary.
• Execute and maintain store level resets in accordance with store/TM/Sales Director expectations that maximize sales results and turns.
• Create space on planograms (POGs) and place new products in existing sets that drive incremental sales per square foot.
• Implement advertising drops
• Assist buyers and store employees to help drive retail sales and turns with Emery Jensen products.
• Ensure orders are accurate, complete, and transition from receiving area to floor selling space in a timely manner.
• Document any miss picks and shipping issues.
• Diagnose, research, and answer questions regarding ordering and product trends.
• Provide customer feedback related to Emery Jensen’s packing and shipping performance from the RSC through delivery.
• Document customer input regarding shipper performance and attitude, product performance, item scanning issues, reset order logistics, etc.
• Verify all items needed for POG are represented and properly located.
• Order any missing SKUs.
• Correct inventory information as needed.
• Ensure customer pricing labels are present and in proper placement.
• Identify deleted items and implement rollover or replacement SKU.
• Check graphics and POP material as applicable.
• Recommend needed changes in the product presentation level.
• Follow up on any special requests made and communicated results to Territory or Account Manager.
• Write orders for specific categories to be approved by buyers.
• Assist stores with credits and claims.
• Attends new store openings and special store events.
• Execute price shops as required.
