About the role Based remote in the Mountain West and responsible for a robust business across 10 Mountain West states Drive significant revenue growth from net new account acquisitions Drive expansion within and across departments in existing customers Create and execute territory and sales strategy for the region Report to the VP of Sales, State & Local Government Become a trusted advisor and product expert to all customers regarding network and endpoint security Attend onsite customer meetings and events Develop and execute a territory sales strategy managing a large customer base and geography Execute high-touch sales to state and local government accounts, managing complex, lengthy sales cycles Data mine high potential accounts and identify key accounts and contacts to engage Follow up on all leads provided through marketing resources in a timely and effective manner Work with channel partners to create leads and close joint business Maintain a high lead conversion rate and high daily rate of targeted outbound activity Utilize tech stack (Salesforce.com, Clari, Outreach, Gong, DemandBase, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator) effectively Build and maintain a four-quarter rolling 3x pipeline, ensuring an accurate forecast Maintain a high level of customer and activity data Requirements 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience and/or 5+ years of PC hardware sales experience Proven track record of sales success in the enterprise software industry Proven track record of developing, implementing, and executing strong territory management strategy Proven experience selling to State & Local Government accounts (direct and through state contracts/government purchase vehicles) Knowledge of Security software market and Secure Endpoint technology Experience selling SaaS platforms is a plus Experience with MEDDPICC and Force Management methodologies (strongly preferred) Ability to build relationships, prospect and qualify new opportunities Proven experience presenting to and negotiating with senior leaders and executives Strong business acumen and ability to negotiate long-term license agreements High level of organization, drive for results, and ability to over-achieve goals Willingness to travel up to 30% Protect the security and privacy of Absolute and its customers Proficiency using Salesforce.com, Clari, Outreach, Gong, DemandBase, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator Copy Applicant Tracking System Keywords Tip: use these terms in your resume and cover letter to boost ATS matches.
