About the role
- Provide technical project planning, management and oversight for implementation projects
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget and with high quality deliverables
- Work directly with clients to determine reporting needs and serve as main point of contact for reporting questions
- Gather and translate business needs into technical requirements and work directly with development resources
- Drive projects to completion based on value, budget and time restraints
- Provide thorough and understandable documentation on all projects and assigned system functions
- Client relationship management – develop strong relationships with external clients, manage requirements, timely deliverables, and train clients on best practices for reporting and PowerBI
- Clearly communicate status of all items internally and externally
- Implement a formal project management process from conception to completion for each client project
- Work closely with other teams for problem resolution and project coordination
- Participate in planning and implementing future Reporting developments
- Review and prepare statements of work as needed
- Manage the project budget to assure realistic and achievable project charters
- Monitor Reporting SLA’s and ensure they are met
- Translate management recommendations into workable technical solutions
- Research and recommend solutions to maximize ABC Reporting uptime
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience required (fewer with a degree), including at least 2-3 years in Project Management and 1-2 years in business analytic roles
- 3+ years’ experience in Project Management
- 3+ years in creating business requirements and timelines (business analyst roles, PM related roles like project coordinators, junior PM, PM)
- Direct experience or certification with Scrum or Agile development environment
- Experience with project management tools like JIRA
- Experience managing client deliverables and maintaining strong client relationships
- PMP certification or University PM certificate program preferred
- SQL Query experience preferred
- Must be extremely detail oriented and able to make sound independent decisions
- Must be able to organize, prioritize, multi-task and complete work with multiple deadlines
- Proven creative thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and formally present project status or report functionality to a variety of audiences, including technical and executive audiences
