About the role

  • Provide tactical and administrative management for planning, development and controlling activities to ensure sales and share increases for the district.
  • Work with Ensure®, Glucerna®, Juven® and Protality® brands in Acute Care and Outpatient settings as part of the Therapeutic Nutrition team.
  • Develop territory managers' skills through training, coaching, and inspiration to ensure sales and share growth.
  • Work in the field (avg. 10 times per Rep annually) and complete associated documentation (TM Evaluation, follow letter, etc.).
  • Perform team/human resources management functions: evaluate performance, provide performance improvement coaching, write performance appraisals.
  • Perform recruitment and selection duties: source, interview, maintain diverse candidate pool, participate in job fairs, maintain file of qualified candidates.
  • Administrative responsibilities: drive the business through proper resource allocation and budgeting (gratis and expenses); communicate with Regional Director regarding issues and opportunities.
  • Lead special projects such as conducting meetings and training sessions.
  • Manage district budget including financial and marketing resources; accountability for district staff of Sales Representatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years sales leadership experience (preferably 5-10 years).
  • Master ability in technical products sales, conduct, written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated strength in training.
  • Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking, decision making, teamwork, initiative, driving the business.
  • Ability to understand and implement field sales directives and management policies.
  • Ability to travel; mandatory for all sales meetings (Travel: Yes, 75% of the Time).
