Serve as primary IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) between IT and CMI Operational business functions (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, Plant Operations/Engineering).
Manage relationships with business clients to understand end-to-end processes and translate needs into IT opportunities and investments.
Build business cases and identify requirements to implement process and technology solutions.
Work with Corporate IT Plan/Build and Support organizations for implementation and support of technology investments.
Manage portfolio and tactical projects to improve business effectiveness and assist on larger cross-divisional/corporate projects.
Apply knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Abbott Shared Services model, and support resolution processes.
Lead cross-functional groups, collaborate across functions and levels, and communicate with Executive Management.
Partner with the business to develop long-term strategic plans.
Assist the CMI IT BRM Director with financial planning and project budgeting, tracking business-owned applications for SLC compliance, and developing Long-Range-Plan for future IT investments.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration or another discipline relevant to Information Technology or the Healthcare industry.
10-12 years of IT experience in large or midsized multinational Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Diagnostics, or other Health Care organization.
Successfully managed project portfolio with projects ranging from $1M-$10MM and/or operating budgets of $7MM to $12MM.
Technology application knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP, JDE, Infor), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and others; ideally S/4HANA.
Experience managing Supply chain related work and supporting technology solutions.
Knowledgeable of Facilities, Utilities, and Equipment (FUE) and overall plant operations (preferred).
Successful track record and experience leading teams – both with direct and indirect responsibility.
Experience in setting IT strategy and business IT alignment.
Strong experience with building business cases.
Ability to manage and influence without direct authority.
Proven experience and understanding of the complete software life cycle (SDLC) including privacy and security aspects.
Experience with vendor management.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of management up to and including Division Directors and VPs.
