Responsible for driving key partnership goals within assigned health system accounts.
Use a consultative approach to partner with health systems and drive broader adoption of ADC’s continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) portfolio within health systems’ diabetes patient population.
Lead the development of key account plans based on customer insights and unmet needs in diabetes management.
Build and maintain deep relationships and act as a thought partner with key decision-makers and influencers across C-suite, administration, Quality, Primary Care, Endocrinology, Population Health, Health Equity, IT/EMR/EHR, Pharmacy, and other stakeholders.
Identify needs and hypothesize solutions for stakeholders regarding unmet needs in diabetes management.
Develop strategies and tactical plans to tailor and implement solutions that drive awareness of CGM, create HCP access for field teams, and accelerate adoption of CGM.
Collaborate and orchestrate activities with cross-functional account team and HQ-based stakeholders to drive development and pull-through of strategy, tactical plans, and solutions in a compliant manner.
Track and evaluate key customer metrics to proactively identify opportunities to adjust account strategy.
Maintain current knowledge of all ADC’s products, indications and diabetes disease area to serve as an effective partner to assigned health system accounts.
Report to the Director of Strategic Accounts and operate as a field-based role.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
10 years+ years of experience in a customer facing field sales, sales management, or key account management role.
5+ years of experience in healthcare and / or life sciences industry.
Demonstrated leadership skills in strategic influencing, effective communication, cross-functional collaboration, and conflict resolution.
Demonstrated track record of account planning, business planning, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Possess executive presence and the ability to interact with senior account leadership.
Demonstrated ability to develop customer-centric approaches leveraging multi-disciplinary capabilities and resources.
Ability to manage multiple, concurrent work streams across diverse functions.
Demonstrated confidence, persuasiveness, ability to motivate others and influence without formal authority.
Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight 50% - 75% of the time.
Preferred: Advanced degree (Business or Science).
Preferred: Experience in Key Account Manager position managing national or regional health system accounts.
Preferred: Diabetes disease area knowledge and experience promoting related products (e.g. glucose monitors, pumps).
