About the role
- Assists sites with selection and onboarding of third-party security vendors. Assists sites with contract compliance for third party security vendors, including adherence to post orders and modification of deployment schedules.
- Monitor security equipment and ensure maintenance and repairs are completed. Review bids for security equipment and assist in design process for installed security systems.
- Perform process and procedure audits and present findings.
- Create and implement new policy for physical security operations.
- Respond to security incidents as needed.
- Perform site security assessments and provide detailed findings and recommendations.
- Collect and present metrics data for on-site third-party security vendors.
- Collect, present, and submit metrics data for incident reports. Serve as primary contact for Unified Data Report for all sites/regions.
- Participate in implementation of security recommendations and improvements.
- Serve as SME for recruitment of vendors and security personnel (both internal and external). Assist VP of Physical Security with vendor engagement and selection of security contracts and bid process.
- Assist with creation and deployment of security and safety related training courses.
- Participate in security briefings and site/regional security meetings.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in the security industry.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
- A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
- Flexibility to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Direct experience with threat modeling and analysis.
- Direct experience with vendor selection and management.
- Superb attention to detail and ability to complete complex audits.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to consistently review and improve internal processes.
- Advanced skills with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, tasks, and projects.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with external and internal stakeholders.
