About the role

  • The Enterprise Account Manager - Southeast sells the entire Abbott Core Laboratory Diagnostics Division product line to large, complex strategic named accounts and/or strategic named prospect accounts
  • Focus on the strategic customer relationship, retention, penetration and net new customer selling
  • Primary responsibilities include establishing and building senior level relationships and leveraging them in driving new profitable sales and protecting base business
  • Territory is remote field position focused on Southeast United States with Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee; Chicago-based option
  • 50% travel expected
  • Responsibilities: drive profitable revenue, investigate and understand customer environment, negotiate contracts, lead internal team, coordinate resources, advocate for customer
  • Manage 10-13 single tier accounts (80-150 hospital/Lab entities) with multiple locations; current business $35-40M; target growth $4-8M
  • P&L ownership and profitable growth to meet LRP commitments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years pf proven sales experience at executive level selling broad and complex product line
  • Proven ability to build long term strategic and senior level relationships
  • Proven success as an expert in value-based, solution selling
  • Ability to travel up to 50% in assigned territory
  • Excellent communication skills, public speaking, and adaptability
  • Executive level business and financial acumen, strong team leadership skills
  • Strong negotiation skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong internal and external networking skills with robust inter-personal skills
  • Prefer Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, engineering or related technical discipline
  • 7+ years of experience developing and selling customized solutions to senior level/C-suite executives in healthcare institutions
  • 7+ years of experience understanding performance metrics in Hospital or Laboratory settings
