About the role
- Serve as a trusted advisor to established customers, fostering loyalty and achieving retention targets.
- Enhance customer satisfaction through proactive issue resolution and regular business reviews.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Account Managers to secure early renewals and mitigate competitive threats.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on value expansion and profitability.
- Identify and implement operational and service improvements to drive customer success.
- Influence purchasing decisions and optimize reagent utilization.
- Perform assay integrations and address laboratory technical needs.
- Support new account implementations, including ordering, installation, and validation.
- Coordinate order, delivery, and billing processes to ensure operational efficiency.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Technical Service, and Finance to deliver cohesive customer experiences.
- Escalate and resolve customer challenges in collaboration with the service organization.
- Contribute to quality effectiveness through accurate documentation of complaints and resolutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s degree with equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in sales or clinical laboratory operations.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or Medical Technology and/or healthcare-related Field.
- Preferred: Experience with a proven track record in sales, field service, or within a technical call center.
- Financial Acumen – good understanding and analysis of financial data in the healthcare market.
- Deep understanding of laboratory instrumentation, workflows, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to perform assay integrations, support installations and validations.
- Able to coordinate order, delivery, and billing processes.
- Travel up to 50% of the time.
- Continuous standing and walking for prolonged periods; driving a personal auto or company car as required.
