About the role
- Manage ARDx’s Cardiometabolic (CM) product portfolio across assigned territory.
- Target physician offices, hospital accounts, corporate wellness, and IDNs for point-of-care testing.
- Sell Afinion (HbA1c and ACR) and Cholestech LDX (cholesterol, lipids, glucose) analyzers.
- Effectively work in a team environment with Technical Consultants (TCs) and Enterprise Account Managers (EAMs).
- Achieve sales objectives and develop/maintain relationships with distributors and end users.
- Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities; strategically develop POC sales opportunities.
- Implement sales, marketing, and national account programs as directed by management.
- Build and maintain strong competitive product knowledge and contribute to regional growth.
- Assist with management of complex sales by providing technical expertise.
- Meet established sales goals while maintaining the territory budget.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage sales performance of distributor sales forces; train and develop those sales forces.
- Support distribution partners with training, sales meetings, technical expertise, and marketing support.
- Act as a resource for contract negotiation, pricing, proposal and bid preparation, and customer follow-up.
- Identify customer issues and resolve sales-related difficulties.
- Expected to travel up to 50% and perform continuous standing/walking and driving as job activities.
Requirements
- BA/BS in sales, marketing, business management, or life science.
- 6+ years’ experience in medical diagnostics or business-to-business sales.
- Understanding and experience working with Distribution Partners.
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability in execution of sales strategies.
- Proven successful POC/Capital Equipment sales experience.
- Contract negotiation experience (preferred).
- Complex / strategic selling background (preferred).
- Ability to balance multiple stakeholders (preferred).
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Ability to drive a personal auto or company car as required.
- Ideal candidate based in Eastern or Central Michigan.
