About the role
- Manage accounts receivable records and ensure accurate data entry
- Communicate with clients/customers regarding outstanding invoices and payments
- Send reminders, follow-ups, and update payment status in the system
- Assist in reconciling accounts and generating simple reports
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain organized records of transactions and correspondence
- Provide excellent customer service while handling payment-related inquiries
- Follow client-supplied SOPs, timelines, and service expectations
- Perform services remotely and may be matched with one or more clients
Requirements
- Previous call center or customer service experience required
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proven ability to stay organized, detail-oriented, and efficient
- Excellent time management and follow-through
- Comfortable with technology and learning new tools quickly
- Accounts receivable or bookkeeping experience is a plus
- Ability to follow client-supplied SOPs, timelines, and service expectations
- Availability Monday–Friday during client hours (10AM–3PM EST)
- Willingness to work as an independent contractor (not employment)
- Offshore contractors preferred to support US-based clients
