Enter and manage pleadings, motions, trial documents, and legal correspondence using the case management system
Support case lifecycle tasks: assigning cases, sending letters of representation, filing entries of appearance, tracking financials, answering complaints, sending notices of depositions/hearings, corresponding with opposing counsel, and closing files
Track trial, arbitration, and mediation dates and ensure timely follow-ups and notifications
Maintain communication with clients, courts, claim representatives, and opposing counsel via phone, email, and written correspondence
Perform mail handling, scanning, filing, and daily administrative duties both in-office and remotely
Ensure data accuracy and compliance using the Team Connect Litigation Management System
Investigate and resolve administrative challenges and remain open to feedback and learning
Requirements
Legal administrative support experience in a civil law setting is beneficial but not required
Exposure to a legal office environment is helpful
Transferable skills and strong interest in legal administrative work encouraged
Exceptionally organized and task-oriented
Experience scheduling hearings, mediations, depositions, phone conferences, and trials
Experience with legal software programs beneficial but not required
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable handling sensitive information
Proficient in Microsoft Office and open to learning new legal systems
