About the role
- Partner with Account Executives to drive sales efficiency and accelerate deal cycles
- Deliver technical expertise, product knowledge, and customer-specific insights throughout the sales process
- Lead and manage Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements to validate solutions and demonstrate value
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, aligning 1Password’s solutions with customer use cases and ensuring technical requirements are met
- Use frameworks like MEDDPICC to support opportunity qualification, validate success criteria, and influence champion engagement
- Serve as the primary technical advisor within the Go-to-Market team and develop deep expertise across the 1Password product suite
- Recommend tailored technical solutions that align with customer use cases and business goals
- Provide technical education and guidance to customers
- Collaborate with Product, Support, Sales Enablement, and Product Marketing to shape solutions, surface feedback, and create technical resources
- Prepare proposals and respond to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and vendor assessments
- Participate in occasional travel and in-person onboarding events (e.g., Toronto)
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in customer-facing B2B roles such as Solutions Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in a multi-product SaaS environment
- Proven ability to collaborate with Account Executives to support and accelerate deal success
- Skilled at managing and delivering PoCs to validate solutions and drive customer outcomes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and navigate dynamic customer conversations
- Experienced in managing multiple projects independently while maintaining high quality
- Familiarity with SaaS, security concepts, and technologies such as IAM, SCIM, AD, CLI, and SSO
- Knowledge of sales methodologies like MEDDPICC for opportunity qualification and technical validation
- Awareness of AI technologies with the ability to learn and articulate their business impact
- Willingness to participate in occasional travel for conferences, customer on-sites, and company events
