Mobile Service Technician – 4 Month Contract, Multi-Site

• Act as a subject matter expert for the maintenance, repair, and operational integrity of compact construction equipment
• Ensure high-quality fleet readiness and technical reliability
• Diagnose and repair engine, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Interpret complex technical manuals to perform accurate repairs
• Address client inquiries and complaints with a focus on exceeding customer expectations
• Oversee the safe transport of equipment, including proper load securement and tie-down procedures
• Maintain Tool Rental Centre (TRC) Large Equipment (LE) parking lot standards
• Communicate clearly, both verbal and written, partnering with store TRC associates and customers.
• Respond to customer service calls by facilitating repair, and arriving on-site within 24 hours
• Maintain vehicle compliance in accordance with company and provincial regulations
• Follow all safety protocols by following all Home Depot policies, such as safe driving practices and proper lifting techniques.

Mobile Service Technician

• Act as a field-based technical expert responsible for complex equipment repairs
• Manage customer inquiries and complaints with a commitment to exceeding service expectations
• Perform specialized field operations, including driving delivery trucks and managing the safe loading and transport of towable equipment
• Ensure LE rental readiness and provide technical expertise to customers and store associates
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair all components of the heavy-duty equipment
• Fostering a culture of customer service & support and interacting with TRC associates
• Maintain vehicle compliance in accordance with company and provincial regulations

Lead Rental Technician – Multi-Site

• Responsible for day to day monitoring or assigned project.
• Maintain cleanliness of Tools and Equipment and Industrial Services Shop.
• Power washing and High Pressure Water blasting as required.
• Line snaking, Drain and Pipe Inspections as required.
• Industrial cleaning of chemical non-hazardous and hazardous wastes.
• Assist on Vacuum Trucks/plant operations as required.
• Confined Space Entry/ Rescue as required for Industrial Services Projects.
• Working in tight or cramped spaces.
• Working while using Respirator or Supplied Air Breathing Apparatus.
• Shoveling, Jack Hammering, Squeegee, Scraping and heavy lifting as required.
• Operate Pick-up truck, utility trailer, forklift, excavator, bobcat, etc.
• Operate Aerial boom lift/Scissor Lift as required.
• Operate 1,500psi to 40,000psi high pressure water blasting units
