• Leader responsible for market penetration through targeted Payroll campaigns
• Report to a regional Vice President (VP)
• Manage and achieve Division’s productive sales goals monthly
• Recruit and interview Payroll Territory Managers (PTM) and Senior Product Advisors (SPAs)
• Develop PTMs, build PTM business plans, manage SPA/PTM activity

Payroll Division Manager

• Manage payroll and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with state tax requirements.
• Onboard new employees and contractors in payroll systems and process bi-weekly payroll plus monthly commissions/bonuses.
• Track and process approved employee reimbursements.
• Maintain payroll notes, compile tax data, and support accurate recordkeeping.
• Document processes, maintain company policies, and assist with organizational charts, benefit renewals, and office agreements.
• Manage vendor relations, invoice intake, and bill payment processing, including ACH transfers.
• Monitor cash accounts, process CEO reimbursements, and assist with expense coding in coordination with the bookkeeper.
• Oversee company laptop lifecycle including purchasing, assignment, tracking, repairs, shipping, and retrievals.
• Coordinate laptop security setup and ensure all new hires receive company devices for data protection.

Payroll Administrator

• Compliance & Vendor Oversight: Oversee the timely and accurate filing of all federal, state, provincial, and local payroll tax returns—including Form 940, Form 941, Form W-2, and Canada Forms—by our outsourced payroll and settlement vendors.
• Account Reconciliation & Auditing: Perform regular plausibility audits and reconciliations of employee and employer payroll tax setups to identify and resolve discrepancies, while completing tax returns and requesting payments for Canada Workers' Compensation and other agency-related taxes.
• Agency Liaison & Problem Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for tax authorities to handle notices, audits, and new tax identification number registrations, while directly addressing executive escalations and stakeholder inquiries.
• System Optimization: Partner with internal teams and our tax preparer to thoroughly test and implement mandatory tax updates within our Workday payroll system.
• Reporting & Strategic Support: Prepare periodic trend reports regarding tax liabilities and potential financial impacts for senior management, while supporting corporate activities such as mergers and acquisitions.

Senior Payroll Tax Analyst

• Enter and maintain payroll data including new hires, terminations, pay changes, and deductions
• Assist in processing weekly payroll for a multi-state workforce
• Review timesheets and payroll reports for accuracy and completeness
• Support processing of commissions, bonuses, and other supplemental pay
• Assist with wage garnishments and other payroll deductions
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and route more complex issues as needed
• Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with company policies
• Support payroll audits by gathering and organizing required documentation
• Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate employee data
• Perform other administrative and payroll-related tasks as assigned

Payroll Coordinator

• Manages district sales effort in accordance with corporate guidelines to increase client base through implementation of specifically approved sales and marketing programs
• Recruits, selects and directs sales staff in meeting or exceeding corporate goals
• Monitors attainment versus forecast and takes corrective action when necessary
• Identifies potential management candidates and brings to the attention of the Vice President, Sales - SurePayroll
• Projects a positive image in representing the corporation to clients and the community
• Cultivates and develops through the sales staff a referral network among the certified public accountants community, enrolled agents, banks and bookkeepers

District Sales Manager

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions via phone and email
• Assist employees with: Employee self-service portal registration, Benefit enrollment, Payroll deductions and tax inquiries
• Assist with new hire onboarding, file setup, and compliance auditing
• Support benefits administration including Open Enrollment and new hire enrollment
• Maintain and process electronic HR records and documentation
• Assist with leave of absence administration
• Reconcile invoices related to return-to-work exams, fit-for-duty testing, and drug screens
• Process daily mail including wage and benefit audits and unemployment claims
• Audit and process employee timecards
• Report meal period violations to the HR Department

HR/Payroll Administrator

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing payroll team responsible for accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across multiple clients
• Oversee end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring payrolls are processed accurately and in accordance with established deadlines and service standards
• Serve as an escalation point for complex payroll issues, client inquiries, and compliance-related questions
• Partner cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., HR, Benefits, Finance, Technology, Client Success) and external vendors (payroll systems, time and attendance, HRIS)
• Drive consistency and scalability by documenting, maintaining, and improving payroll processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures
• Partner with the Tax team to ensure effective execution of quarter-end and year-end activities, including tax filings, returns, and W-2 processing
• Monitor key performance metrics and report on team performance, risk areas, and operational improvements

Manager, Payroll Services

• Process payroll on time and accurately: Run bi-weekly payroll for Dutch Bros. LLC
• Process individualized payroll activities that include (but are not limited to): Garnishments, Payroll Draws, Direct deposits
• Administer stand employee bonuses, as dictated by Finance/Accounting Departments
• Distribute manual payroll checks
• Process manual checks, as requested by Human Resources Department
• Protect DB operations by maintaining strict confidentiality
• Track and update payroll change paperwork
• Print pay stubs upon request
• Maintain clear, open communication with HR and Finance/ Accounting Departments
• Create and maintain employee Payroll files for DB LLC
• Support employees with use of time and attendance software
• Answer inquiries regarding employment verification
• Assist employees with establishing online user access
• Document and update DB LLC payroll processes, as needed
• Respond to employee and HQ Payroll inquiries within 1 business day
• Provide payroll information to other departments, as needed, through reports, charts, graphs, or other requested presentation methods

Payroll Processor

• Process biweekly payroll for 450+ employees across multiple states in ADP
• Ensure accuracy across wages, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and deductions
• Manage payroll tax setup, filings, and payments (federal, state, local)
• Audit payroll data from multiple inputs (HR, benefits, finance) prior to processing
• Maintain and update employee data within ADP
• Serve as the go-to for payroll-related questions from employees and managers
• Monitor integrations impacting payroll (benefits, expenses, etc.)
• Support internal and external audits with payroll data and reporting
• Partner with Accounting and leadership on payroll reporting and reconciliations
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with retention requirements
• Help improve payroll processes, controls, and documentation
• Support training on payroll and timekeeping processes

Payroll and Tax Administrator

• Ensure successful implementation of the Workday Payroll solution with customers
• Master Workday US Payroll and at least one additional Workday Payroll country
• Configure the Workday solution and demonstrate configurations
• Assist clients in testing the Workday solution
• Work with clients to convert legacy data into Workday
• Mentor and share product knowledge with other consultants
• Deliver successful project outcomes and lasting client relationships

Principal Payroll Functional Consultant

• Review and submit tax-related documents or filings, including federal, state, or local tax returns, declarations, or extensions.
• Prepare tax planning reports and estimate the organization's tax obligations.
• Partner with senior management to outline strategies for minimizing tax liabilities.
• Stay abreast of tax code changes and ensure ongoing compliance.

Payroll Tax Manager

• Processing weekly and biweekly full cycle, multi-state payroll for RSM’s clients.
• Expected to have deep understanding of payroll compliance and payroll tax laws
• Will reconcile and work on tax balancing against per pay cycle, as well as per quarterly and per annual tax filings
• Year-end processing
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to clients and internal leaders
• Maintain strong relationships both internally and externally with key stakeholders in client organizations
• Proactively identify problems, unexpected data trends and determine root cause to offer our clients a solution
• Continuously learn and stay informed about changes in payroll regulations to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws
