Learning and Development

• Support the development and implementation of learning and development programs aligned with business needs.
• Deliver and coordinate training programs, including onboarding, technical skills, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify learning needs and assist in developing targeted training solutions.
• Support and guide Ambassadors across our four Innovation Centers, providing coaching and day-to-day direction.
• Assist in evaluating training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and basic reporting.
• Help create and update training materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led content, and job aids.
• Ensure training activities follow organizational standards and established best practices.
• Support training compliance efforts and assist with audit readiness across our four Innovation Centers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records for employees.
• Track completion of required certifications and compliance training.
• Assist in preparing reports on training completion, compliance status, and potential gaps.
• Partner with internal teams to help meet regulatory and operational requirements.
• Other duties/responsibilities as necessary.

Learning Specialist

• Leverage expertise in instructional design, content development, and writing to create engaging digital learning experiences.
• Collaborate closely with Learning and Customer Operations partners to design and deliver effective digital curriculums.
• Design and develop instructional content including storyboarding, learning materials, etc.
• Conduct needs assessments and analyze learner requirements to create tailored learning experiences.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Consult with stakeholders to offer expert advice on instructional design and solutions.
• Utilize various instructional design models and methodologies to create effective learning solutions.
• Manage projects efficiently, demonstrating strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
• Develop assessments and evaluations to measure learner competency and the effectiveness of learning programs.
• Continuously improve and update existing learning content based on feedback and performance data.
• Responsible for facilitating in-person training for employees at all levels, as needed.

Instructional Designer

• Responsible for building and managing relationships with Senior and other suitable business leadership team members
• Identify and build strategies to support development for high potential talent
• Partner with the I&D team to co-create strategies supporting I&D goals
• Develop Talent Strategies that align to and support business and enterprise objectives
• Provide talent development consultation and solutions impacting business performance
• Collaborate with the Global Talent and Inclusion organization to ensure clear strategies around enterprise-wide policies
• Actively shape and contribute to the strategic talent management vision
• Support and promote opportunities which strengthen the Unum brand
