Hardware Engineer

• You will be a senior individual contributor in the Wireless Technology organization, with primary responsibility for Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth connectivity on multi‑radio products.
• Translate vehicle‑level use cases into robust, testable RF hardware and system requirements.
• Contribute to Wi‑Fi/BT RF system architectures defined by Staff/Principal engineers and help drive those architectures into concrete designs and validation plans.
• Lead RF validation, characterization, and debug across bench, chamber, and in‑vehicle environments, with a strong emphasis on multi‑radio coexistence.
• Actively collaborate with GM’s compliance teams and external labs in debugging and troubleshooting issues found in Wi‑Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG certification.

Senior Hardware Engineer – Wi-Fi/BT Connectivity

• Develop and test GNC hardware components and systems for the TeraWave satellite constellation
• Develop technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture designs for GNC subsystems
• Analyze GNC hardware performance requirements and validate designs through simulation and testing
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including software engineers, avionics specialists, and mission planners to ensure integrated system performance

Senior Satellite GNC Hardware Engineer

• Design and optimize the optical film stack architecture for LCD modules used in automotive interior displays
• Select appropriate brightness enhancement and optical compensation films (e.g., DBEF, BEF, diffuser, prism, etc.) based on application and system requirements
• Conduct film stack simulations and ray tracing analysis to evaluate trade-offs in brightness, viewing angle, color shift, and efficiency
• Collaborate with display panel suppliers to define and validate film stack structures under automotive conditions including temperature cycling, humidity, vibration, and sunlight exposure
• Analyze optical measurement data (e.g., luminance, contrast ratio, haze, reflectance, viewing cone, color shift) and correlate with film stack properties
• Investigate and resolve optical issues such as non-uniformity, Mura, and halo artifacts related to film stack interaction

• Own the BLE Stack: Architect, implement, and maintain the Bluetooth connectivity layer across our Pod ecosystem. Define GATT services, characteristics, and connection strategies that deliver reliable, secure, and power-efficient communication.
• Optimize for Always-On Devices: Drive radio-on time, advertising intervals, connection parameters, and PHY selection while maintaining low-latency sync of biometric data.
