About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- designing and manufacturing of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) equipment that control safety critical functions for the BWRX-300 Small Module Reactor
- working with vendors to ensure designs can be manufactured to required quality standards
- technical collaboration between design engineering and vendors when manufacturing issues arise
- applying engineering fundamentals and 1st order engineering principles to establish and/or confirm expected performance
- providing clear and complete analysis documentation in accordance with GE engineering procedures
- managing time effectively to provide quality deliverables within the expected project timeline
- communicating effectively to leadership the status of work activities
- effectively managing multiple priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, systems, computer or equivalent engineering degree from an accredited college of university
- 4 years PCB design in both analog and digital signals
- 2 years experience in PCB board production methods and best practices
- eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled information.
