Field Engineer

• Act as the service representative for individual clients.

Bilingual Field Service Technician – Automation

Apprentice Field Service Technician, Heavy Equipment

• Performs a variety of routine support activities in the field service function
• Responsible for providing troubleshooting and repairing of technical / mechanical equipment failures in the field
• Assess and respond to situations using standard procedures in isolation and fixing problem equipment
• Reports design, reliability, and maintenance problems through field service management software
• Troubleshooting and repair of commercial and industrial floor cleaning equipment either in the branch shop or on location at a customer site
• Completion of all required reporting of service work performed, time sheets, and other reports as set forth by the Branch Supervisor
• Ensure all training and certifications required for position are maintained in an up to date and timely fashion
• Ensuring spare parts stock level in van is kept at specified levels

Field Service Technician

• Troubleshoot, inspect and diagnose Liebherr machinery and components with a heavy focus on Crawler Cranes & Deep Foundation Drill Rigs including electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, engines, gearbox/drive train, etc. to resolve moderate to complex problems
• Perform new and used machinery preparation, scheduled maintenance, repair or overhaul usually requiring component replacement, commissioning and adjustment of mechanical/hydraulic, electrical, electronic and pneumatic equipment, including warranty upgrades
• Recondition and repair equipment components and systems as assigned
• Perform pre-delivery inspections of equipment and new & used equipment preparation
• Occasionally perform servicing on Liebherr machinery as directed, including fluid checks, and sample pulling, oil and filter checks, changing lubricants, replacing filters, greasing machine lube points etc.
• Ensure components, material and/or equipment is inspected, is corrected to specifications and ensure timely delivery programs are achieved
• Ensure all final verifications specified in work instructions, scope of work, verbal communication and specifications are carried out and complete
• Accurate and timely submission of reports and technical document including service reports
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment and work areas in accordance with company policy
• Other duties as assigned

• Participate in the planning, coordination, and execution of the deployment of Flexbox™ units and pilot systems across North America;
• Support the operation, service, and maintenance of mobile assets in both field and facility environments;
• Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and remotely, and adjust plans based on urgency and operational needs;
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, automation, commissioning, and project management;
• Assist with system installation, startup, commissioning, and performance tuning at client sites;

• Handles all service calls and completes diagnostic repairs and maintenance updates
• Manages spare parts inventory
• Responsible for care and maintenance of a company service vehicle
• Maintains a thorough working knowledge of Clever Devices electronic and computerized equipment as well as associated software
• Configures, repairs, maintains, updates and installs Clever Devices equipment on a regular basis
• Serves as point of contact at customer location for any and all service inquiries
• Anticipates and troubleshoots any issues to ensure continual quality for the customer
• Proactively reports trends in repairs and maintenance to supervisor
• Creates and maintains a log of all service repairs, maintenance and updates

• Learn and be involved on the complete hoisting system including mechanics and hydraulics.
• Act as the technical point of contact for all technical aspects after the system start-up.
