Data Engineer

• Lead, develop, and manage a team of four: three data engineers and one service manager – set direction, prioritize work, and grow the team’s technical and delivery capabilities.
• Own a core cloud data application end to end, taking responsibility for driving its ongoing development, service, and reliable operation.
• Support roadmap initiatives and contribute to the vision for the application and the broader analytical data platform, translating strategic direction into concrete deliverables.
• Contribute hands-on to data engineering work, including data onboarding for the operational data warehouse and analytical backbone, building and maintaining data pipelines, and developing end-to-end data applications.
• Drive data quality, performance, and reliability across the platform and applications (completeness, timeliness, correctness), and deliver analytics projects that create value for the business.

Senior Team Lead, Operational Data Services, Analytical Data Platform Services

• Develop scalable data management and data processing architectures.
• Manage data acquisition from API, batch, event or streaming sources.

• As CUJU’s first Senior Data Engineer, you will build the data foundation of the company.
• Your mission is to transform fragmented data across multiple systems into a reliable, scalable, and usable data layer that enables: Clear business metrics (e.g. MAU, retention)
• Product decision-making
• Future player performance insights
• Define and implement core data models (users, events, performance)
• Design and operate robust, production-grade data pipelines
