About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the evolution of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) data landscape
  • Bridge business strategy and technical execution as the core technical orchestrator for the PLM Datamesh architecture
  • Lead agile development workflows and manage critical data operations
  • Design next-generation data products ensuring high availability, compliance, and accuracy
  • Lead the transition and architectural evolution of PLM data products from relational databases to Skywise (Palantir)
  • Build, manage, and scale data products using Palantir Foundry, Collate, and Kafka
  • Maintain and optimize automated Python scripts in SCM repositories executed via Jenkins
  • Act as focal point for business stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and evaluate feasibility
  • Provide technical guidance to developers on PLM database schemas, datamesh architecture, and data modeling
  • Coordinate with external development partners and oversee technical delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated experience as a Lead Developer, Data Architect, or Technical Product Owner in a complex data environment
  • PLM data model experience highly preferred
  • Deep understanding of data modeling
  • Deep understanding of data flow architecture
  • Experience building automated pipelines
  • Strong experience working within an IT Scrum framework
  • Communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into business specifications and vice versa
  • Ability to adapt to evolving architectures, tools, and emerging technologies
  • Fluent in English
  • German is a plus
  • Awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity
