About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advise clients and colleagues
Analyze business and technical requirements together with the team
Implement data engineering solutions based on the SAP portfolio
Gain an in-depth understanding of clients’ business processes and deliver data management solutions
As a Senior Consultant, take responsibility for the project and the Windhoff project team
Design and implement data models and ETL pipelines in the backend
Implement hybrid data infrastructures using SAP, Databricks, Snowflake, Dremio, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS
Contribute to testing and the transition to live operations at the client
Share knowledge through knowledge transfer, project presentations, and internal and external technology events

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of professional experience in SAP data engineering, with a focus on SAP BW/BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere
Strong command of LSA/LSA++, ABAP, AMDP, CDS, and SQLScript
Additional experience with SAP Analysis for Office and SAP Analytics Cloud is an advantage
Experience with Snowflake, Dremio, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS
Interest in current trends, methodologies, technologies, and standards
Experience integrating agentic AI into everyday work and data engineering projects is an advantage
High degree of initiative
Excellent communication skills
Business-fluent German at C1 level
Good command of English
