• Develop content strategies aligned to Spend Optimization Services business goals, go-to-market motions, industry trends, and audience needs, translating complex technical and financial concepts into clear, compelling narratives
• Own full-funnel written content across formats (blogs, eBooks, whitepapers, webinars, email campaigns, and landing pages), ensuring clear objectives, defined target personas, and messaging aligned to awareness, consideration, and decision stages
• Collaborate on non-written content formats such as video, podcasts, infographics, and social media assets to ensure cohesive storytelling across channels
• Create product-adjacent and partner-facing content, including solution briefs, one-pagers, and FAQs, while partnering with creative teams on web copy
• Develop innovative approaches to building awareness and demand in a data-driven, cost-optimization-focused landscape, including buyer-led topic clusters and modular, reusable content strategies
• Utilize AI tools effectively to support research and drafting, while applying strong editorial judgment to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with brand voice and guidelines
• Support content publishing in SHI’s Resource Hub using WordPress, ensuring proper tagging, organization, and discoverability
• Monitor industry trends related to IT spend optimization, licensing, cost management, and financial governance, and connect insights to SHI’s services and solutions in a differentiated and relevant way
• Partner with editorial leadership and external agencies to develop primary and secondary research that supports industry-leading thought leadership

Content Strategist, Spend Optimization Services

• Serve as the communications lead for the CX Center of Excellence (COE), owning the development and execution of internal communication strategies
• Be the lead subject matter expert representative for content strategy as part of our CX Foundation’s Community of Practice.
• Support the ongoing improvement of the CX COE SharePoint website to promote the goals, objectives, and value proposition of the Digital Consumer Experience team
• Develop the content frameworks to enable product teams to incorporate content best practices for multi-modal environments
• Advance organizational capability in agentic content experience by developing frameworks and guidance for designing content that functions effectively within AI-driven, autonomous, and conversational digital environments.
• Ensure CX content guidelines are maintained as living standards, with regular review cycles and clear governance processes
• Evolve standards, guidelines and toolkits for information architecture and taxonomy
• Plan and deliver training and workshops to upskill employees on content best practices

Digital Consumer Experience Content Strategist

• Support creation and implementation of a comprehensive content strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Craft persuasive narratives that drive growth across business targets (e.g., donors, volunteers, texters).
• Oversee and develop email marketing donor strategy that drives fundraising by designing, executing and optimizing email campaigns targeted at acquiring, engaging and retaining donors.
• Write engaging content for marketing campaigns, blogs, articles, videos, social media posts, newsletters, and multimedia assets.
• Collaborate with the marketing team and other departments such as philanthropy, public policy and research to align content on campaign strategy and organizational objectives.
• Integrate optimized content for search engines and user engagement.
• Monitor content performance, gathering analysis and adjusting strategies based on data insights.

Marketing Email and Content Manager

• Lead the creation and evolution of written content across websites, campaigns, emails, landing pages, social media, paid placements, and marketing materials — spanning blog articles, case studies, UX copy, support resources, and more
• Write, edit, and proofread copy that moves people — to click, to buy, to sign up, to trust us
• Research topics and collaborate with internal subject matter experts to produce accurate, informed content
• Develop and maintain brand voice guidelines, messaging frameworks, and editorial standards — keeping the team aligned as products and priorities evolve

• Partner with the Editor of Hypebot (Bandsintown’s owned music industry publication) to surface story opportunities, syndicate Hypebot content across Bandsintown channels, and curate Bandsintown’s presence on the publication
• Own content operations end-to-end: content planning, tools and workflows, intake and prioritization, and reporting
• Use Claude as a force multiplier — maintain brand voice, style guides, and messaging context in Claude so every output starts from the right foundation, pressure-test copy, explore angles, and QA output against our standards.

Senior Copywriter, Content Strategist
