Accounting Manager

• Acting as the day-to-day contact on audit and tax reporting engagements, liaising with audit teams, the client and AARTS team nationally.
• Working with the AARTS leadership team to grow the business.
• Reviewing, testing and documenting technical tax disclosures prepared by clients and their independent advisers
• Delegating delivery of work to junior colleagues whilst maintaining control of quality and timetables.

Manager – Audit & Accounting Related Tax Services

• Providing expert advice on complex accounting issues (e.g., revenue recognition, leasing, financial instruments) and document conclusions in technical memos.
• Developing and maintaining global accounting policies, ensuring consistency across the organisation and compliance with updated standards (IFRS).
• Leading projects for the adoption of new accounting standards.
• Partnering with commercial and product teams to evaluate the accounting implications of new products, lending propositions, and complex transactions prior to launch.
• Managing the intake of technical queries, strategically triaging and delegating project components to utilise existing and develop the technical skills within the wider finance team.
• Establishing, coordinating, and chairing an internal technical accounting forum to debate, align, and secure sign-off on areas of accounting estimates and judgments, as well as new policy/standards.
• Acting as the dedicated technical accounting partner to the business, translating complex technical standards into actionable business advice.
• Leading the technical dialogue with external auditors, authoring robust accounting papers to justify and defend the Monzo’s reported positions.
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, external auditors and advisors.

Technical Accounting Lead

• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, payment allocation, account reconciliations, debt collection and aged debtor reporting.
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment, resolve discrepancies and support cash flow forecasting through accurate receivables reporting.
• Process Accounts Payable activities, including supplier invoices, credit card reconciliations, payment runs and supplier account maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies and audit requirements across AP and AR functions.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations, monitor cash balances and maintain accurate financial records within NetSuite.
• Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Act as the primary contact for customer and supplier finance queries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.

Accounting Specialist

• Ensure timely delivery of data to K2’s RA’s partner for tracking and reporting
• Reconcile between different technology platforms to ensure all relevant data is being captured and accurate
• Ability to work on own initiative and investigate discrepancies within large data sets
• Assist in delivery of the funding process for all clients
• Assist with the setup of new clients across all technology platforms ensuring all personnel have been provided with the relevant access
• Ensure clients are correctly invoiced for all costs paid on their behalf
• Assist in the client’s data acquisition process and resolve data integrity issues
• Perform extensive data validation/quality assurance analysis within large datasets

Relocation Accounting Coordinator

• Responsible for leading the global accounting function and ensuring operational excellence across all core financial processes.
• Ownership of the entity month-end close cycle, ensuring on-time accuracy and completeness of entity accounting and deliverables.
• Manage, develop, and engage a team of five global-based finance professionals.
• Work closely with the Finance Operations Manager and the Finance Operations team to collaborate on and ensure high-quality data entry, and to manage upstream and downstream processes.
• Design, implement, and enforce internal control frameworks, including supporting the banking relationships.
• You’ll also have accountability for statutory and regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions, including payroll, filings, and audits.
• Ownership of the ERP system as the accounting “super user”, supporting ongoing optimization and ensuring the Chart of Accounts remains clean, scalable, and aligned with Group Finance.
• Drive continuous improvement across systems and processes to increase the accuracy, completeness, and speed of accounting and reporting.
• Approve key payments across AP, payroll, statutory, and tax, and own relevant accounting policies in consultation with Group Finance and Finance Operations.

Head of Accounting, Control & Compliance

• Own global revenue recognition: ensure all client revenue is correctly booked, deferred, and accrued in line with accounting standards
• Manage billing milestones, reconcile third-party cost recharges and ensure billing and sales orders in NetSuite are consistent with revenue schedules
• Own global balance sheet reconciliations and review the Management Accountant’s work – ensuring accuracy across expense allocations, GL coding, and journal postings within NetSuite
• Review monthly budget versus actuals, flag material variances, and support ad hoc financial analysis as required
• Act as primary point of contact for auditors throughout the annual audit process, managing all audit working papers across entities
• Review the work of the wider finance team and take ownership of the month-end close schedule, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time
• Identify process improvements across accounting and revenue workflows; maintain finance policies and controls
• Support ad hoc finance projects and be the London-based point of contact for the wider Finance team

• Assist in the coordination and compilation of internal reporting required to communicate the Northern Europe zone monthly financial results & associated commentary to the Northern Europe Executive team and Group Management in Paris.
• Preparing draft presentation templates, completing specified presentation slides and adhoc analysis as may be required to support our financial reporting.

• Leading and / or reviewing entity goodwill impairment assessments, balance sheet recapitalisations and entity restructurings and reductions.
• Provide technical accounting leadership to support simplification, cost reduction and balance sheet optimisation initiatives, while safeguarding reporting integrity and audit robustness.
