About the role

  • You proactively approach new customers and acquire them through phone and in-person contacts as well as via digital channels.
  • You determine the individual needs and requirements of prospective customers to offer tailored solutions.
  • You develop long-term, trust-based relationships with new customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • You proactively research and identify potential new customers and promising market segments.
  • You prepare targeted proposals and follow them up to secure successful contract closures.
  • You conduct contract negotiations to reach profitable, mutually satisfactory agreements.
  • You monitor market trends and competitor activities to continuously adapt the sales strategy.
  • You work closely with the Technical, Marketing and Service departments to meet customer requirements and ensure an optimal customer experience.

Requirements

  • You have experience and knowledge of electrical systems (e.g., low- and medium-voltage switchgear, substations, switchgear).
  • You hold a degree from a technical university or a Meister (master craftsman) certification, preferably in the energy sector or electrical engineering.
  • You have knowledge of the energy sector in Germany.
  • You demonstrate analytical thinking, the ability to act independently, and excellent organizational skills.
  • You speak German (C1) and English (B2).
  • Professional experience in a similar position and market knowledge regarding technical requirements are an advantage.
