About the role

  • Administer and maintain Okta identity platform and related IAM infrastructure
  • Configure and manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and lifecycle management
  • Implement and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations across enterprise applications
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability
  • Design and implement IAM integrations using APIs, SCIM, SAML, and OAuth protocols
  • Develop custom connectors and automation scripts for identity management processes
  • Integrate IAM solutions with HR systems, Active Directory, and cloud applications
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations and processes
  • Design and implement automated workflow solutions for access requests, approvals, and provisioning
  • Manage Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) processes including access reviews, compliance reporting, and policy enforcement
  • Develop automated compliance and audit reporting capabilities
  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC) models
  • Ensure IAM solutions meet security standards and compliance requirements
  • Conduct regular access reviews and remediation activities
  • Implement and maintain multi-factor authentication (MFA) policies
  • Support security audits and provide IAM-related documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience with Okta administration and configuration
  • Proven experience with workflow automation tools and platforms
  • Strong background in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA)
  • Experience with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM protocols
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript)
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and directory services
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their IAM services
  • Experience with API development and integration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Okta Professional or Administrator certification (preferred)
  • Experience with IGA platforms (SailPoint, Saviynt, Oracle Identity Management) (preferred)
  • Knowledge of privileged access management (PAM) solutions (preferred)
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms (preferred)
  • Understanding of zero-trust security principles (preferred)
  • Experience with containerization and microservices architecture (preferred)
  • CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications (preferred)
  • Experience with Okta Universal Directory, Okta Workflows, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, SQL databases, Git
