About the role
- Support development of an enterprise-wide IT Asset Management (ITAM) strategy, including governance models, compliance frameworks, and lifecycle processes for SAM and HAM.
- Conduct data collection, license reconciliation, and compliance analysis to assess the client’s current ITAM posture.
- Assist with market research, tool evaluations, and analysis of alternatives to support platform selection.
- Contribute to the development of high-level implementation roadmaps using phased Agile approaches (research, prototype, production).
- Support integration planning between ITAM platforms and enterprise systems such as ERP, procurement, and IT service management.
- Prepare draft deliverables including assessment reports, evaluation matrices, dashboards, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with senior team members to identify optimization opportunities, risks, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, Software Asset Management, or related consulting role.
- 2+ years working with of ITIL, ISO/IEC 19770, or similar ITAM frameworks.
- 2+ years working with federal civilian requirements, including OMB guidance, FedRAMP, and NIST standards.
- 2+ years experience with data analysis, license reconciliation, and asset inventory validation.
- 3+ years of experience in with Excel or similar tools for reconciliation, dashboards, and reporting
- 2+ years of experience in clearly documenting findings and supporting client-facing deliverables.
- Must reside in the United States and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
