About the role
- Provide technical expertise, support, and guidance to customers
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions
- Drive revenue growth by providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales process
- Collaborate with the sales team and engage with prospective customers
- Conduct product demonstrations and deliver presentations
- Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, and product specifications
- Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) activities
- Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to provide feedback
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience (Network/Security/Pre Sales Engineering)
- Proven experience as Customer Engineer or in a pre-sales / technical sales role, in the information security industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed
