About the role
- Provide technical expertise, support, and guidance to customers to ensure satisfaction
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with the sales team through the sales process from discovery to closing deals
- Conduct product demonstrations and deliver presentations showcasing features and value
- Understand customer requirements and develop tailored solution designs and technical proposals
- Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, and product specifications
- Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) activities to demonstrate feasibility and build trust
- Collaborate with product development and engineering to provide feedback and stay updated on releases
- Stay current with industry trends and represent the company at industry events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience (Network/Security/Pre Sales Engineering) - must
- Proven experience as Customer Engineer or in a pre-sales / technical sales role in the information security industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed
