About the role
- Provide technical expertise, support, and guidance to customers to ensure satisfaction
- Drive revenue growth by supporting the sales process and engaging prospective customers
- Collaborate with sales to identify and qualify customers and participate from discovery to close
- Conduct product demonstrations, deliver presentations, and perform proof-of-concept (POC) activities
- Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, and product specifications
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide feedback and stay updated on releases
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience (Network/Security/Pre Sales Engineering)
- Proven experience as Customer Engineer or in a pre-sales / technical sales role in the information security industry
- Strong technical background
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed
