About the role
- Define IT Product vision and strategy aligned with company goals for Record to Report and Source to Pay
- Conduct discovery and stay current on solution and market trends to identify ideal Finance solutions
- Define end-to-end user experience across people, processes, and technology in Finance
- Shape control, impact, and outcome metrics (OKRs) with Finance stakeholders
- Serve as primary contact for executive Finance stakeholders and gather feedback
- Collaborate with BSAs, Scrum Masters, Engineers, Tech Leads, Architects, and PMO to deliver solutions
- Own and manage product backlog and prioritize based on company and CIO OKRs
- Track product progress, provide stakeholder updates via demos and reports, and refine backlog
- Oversee production changes impacting Finance and provide input/sign-off on technical solutions
- Lead and participate in agile ceremonies and champion the One Intake process
- Prepare and own release plans and finalize release notes for Finance products
- Build and maintain relationships with IT and Finance stakeholders and assess technical debt and KTLO projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field; or a Bachelor’s degree in the hard sciences, together with relevant software industry experience
- 12+ years of product management experience in SaaS or technology environments with a proven track record of successful product delivery, preferably with experience in financial systems
- Strong understanding of platform engineering, integration technologies, and API management
- Proven experience in Agile frameworks, facilitating Scrum practices, and managing cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical abilities to leverage data for decision-making and performance monitoring
- Strong communication skills to engage and influence diverse stakeholders
- Strong career focus on process improvement and facilitating optimal outcomes with platform products and systems
- Prior experience with enterprise SaaS systems and products in Finance domains, including Record to Report and Source to Pay
- Experience with SaaS technologies such as Netsuite, Adaptive, Coupa, Brex, Blackline, Celigo, Cforia
- Familiarity with data integration tools and platforms (e.g., Workato, AWS, Fivetran)
- Facility with designing and deploying operational metrics using standard BI tools
- Experience in user testing and gathering feedback
- Ability to mentor team members and foster collaborative culture
- Passion for technology and staying current with industry trends
- Must be physically located and plan to work from Karnataka or Maharashtra; must attend local office part of the week
